This is my first attempt to recreate a recipe, it's a smoked porter that I did last year and proved to be very popular.

MO 79%
Rauchmalt 8.5%
Choc 5%
Flaked Oats 5%
TW 2.5%

Bramling Cross 20g 90min
Boadacia 17g 90min
Bramling Cross 39g 15min
Boadacia 38g 15 min

Should come out at 1042OG and 35 IBU

I've upgraded the brewery slightly as well.

The solar pump is being used to circulate the water to eliminate dead spots and fill the mash tun, worked like a charm, much easier than doing it with a bucket like I used to.
The insulation has been beefed up on the MT, 2 layers of silver insulated bubble wrap with a tank jacket in between. More to follow...

The pump worked like a dream, made the whole day so much quicker and easier.

Running off in the rain.

All done before I have to pick the kids up from school, except the boiler clean up, but that can wait until tomorrow.

I love that beer.

Are you going to keg it all or bottle and keg?

(Wednesday must be brewing porn day - all I can see on FB, twitter and on here are brewery mods).

Big fv goes in the keg and little fv goes in bottles. I'll put one aside for you.
