pectolase - when to add?

I was planning to get my first batch of WOW started this evening, but the local wilkinsons was out of stock of pectolase. Will I be able to get the wine started tonight and add the pectolase at a later date?

My understanding us that is breaks down the fruit in the juice to help clear, rather than helping with the fermentation, so although clearing may be delayed the fermentation shouldn't be compromised by outing it in later?
 
As above 1tsp per gallon at start of fermentation, doubled to 2tsp if fermentation has completed.
