So, by Monday will be the 5th day the beer has been Fermenting. I plan on placing it inside a pressure barrel. When's best to take a gravity reading? Before it goes in the barrel or after.

Cheers guys [emoji2]

I'd recommend two weeks in the FV before taking it down.
Well it's going in to secondary fermentation for about 2 weeks anyway hoping I cam clear it up a little although I'm not to fussed about hazy beer either way it's guna get drunk

It would be better to leave it in primary for the two weeks as opposed to placing it in secondary after five days. That way you will be leaving behind much of the trub and allowing it to clean up before transfer.

It is a little point!less transferring after five days.
