I use the 30L white plastic buckets as FV's, some have now got a bit of a deposit on the sides, from darker grains and hops I suppose; what is the best way to remove this? thanks in advance

When you say deposit, do you mean stain? Deposits should be sorted by oxiclean, but the stain is there for life. Shouldn't have any effect on the brew.

It is a deposit not a stain. Is oxiclean what you can get in tescos as a stain remover for fabrics?

thats the stuff.

I got mine from a garden center of all places..... £3 for a large tub

If you've got a Home Bargains or B&M near you, then they are good places for cheap oxiclean. The supermarkets only seem to sell the expensive brands.

Asda has their own brand, don't remember what I paid for it, sorry, but clearly it was cheaper than the expensive brands.
