Rice hulls

I get mine from the Malt Miller and I have never rinsed them before hand. Got me thinking now ...

I get mine from the malt miller as well, I always throw some in before add the grains, i never had any noticeable discoloration in my mash water.

I'd have thought the boil would kill off any nasties. That said, I think I'll be giving them a quick rinse in future just to avoid any discolouration.
