Got a brew on today. Trying out a pack of pioneer I got recently and some roasted barley that I've never used before. There's a bit more crystal than I normally use too, I'm thinking about adding some more, what'd u reckon?

oh well.. too late now to add more... i'm nearly done with the sparge.

smells pretty nice and it's quite brown already, i think if i add more it could go a bit too dark for me for a bitter. I'll see how this one goes and adjust it next time. :thumb:

runnings are clear as daylight :D not a spill of cloudy wort into the kettle so far...

stopped the sparge at 1.010.. 42L in the kettle.. expected just under 39 so not doin too bad :)
