just brewed up my second 'single malt and single hop', using NZ Pacifica. Oddly, using the same grain bill, and the same mash, as SMaSH#1, the OG of this one is much higher. Must have had a bit of a poorly mashed grist last time or something :-?

Grain Bill:
5kg maris otter
Mash 66degrees for 1.5 hours

Hops, boil for 60 minutes:
start of boil - 25g NZ Pacifica (6.3%)
30 minutes - 25g NZ Pacifica
Flame out - 50g NZ Pacifica

Leave to steep for 30 minutes

yeast - Safale 05

OG 1052
IBU 47
