Splitting protofloc

The dose for 23L is a quarter of a protofloc tablet. Any tips on cutting it into four pieces? When I tried it I got lots of little bits and had to guess the amount to throw in.

I tried this with a sharp kitchen knife. Is a Stanley knife any different?

Just tried. Craft knife. Close enough.

I now need to split into 8ths because I use two pots.
