Sugar in blackberries

Does anyone know, roughly how much natural sugar there is in a pound of blackberries when using for making wine?

5-6%, but cultivated ones would be higher. So less than an ounce per pound.

I always go by the rule ;10% sugar by weight.

So for 1 lb that is about 45g or 1.5 oz

Using a refractometer, I found a fully ripe wild blackberry confirms this. 10%. However, this has been an exceptional summer, similar to 1976, so not typical.
