Need to borrow a 1 1/2" Qmax cutter (only 1 hole to do in the HLT so £20 could be better spent on ingredients!) I have a 21mm cutter that I can swap out in return if anyone is in need.

Can't help you with the one you want but there must lots of people on here with all the various sizes. An exchange system must be possible when you just pay the postage and then pass it on t to the next person requiring that size.

There was one doing exactly that (20mm) about a year ago but sadly it has gone on the missing list.

My sentiments exactly - there must be quite a few people who have only used or will need to use a cutter for a few holes!

Danb - thanks for the link, but at £17 Inc p&p that's the cost of an AG kit for one element hole!

I have 3 holes left to do in the boiler. After that I'll volunteer my 20mm cutter to the forum after the amount that the advice has saved me (or should that be cost me  ) The person who posts it on leaves the name of the receiver on the thread?
