Tube and hose adapters

As my brewing toolbox (is there a technical term?) grows, I'm finding that I have managed to collect quite a number of pipes, tubes, filters, taps, wands etc. The problem is, none of them (well, very few) actually fit together. Most appear to be the same size - the filter for the end of my Syphon for example - so they need some sort of collar. Others are just way off - my hose pipe and the copper wort cooler.

So, is there some universal or at least a range of readily available and cheap adapters that other people are using?

Hi!
Make sure it' s food safe. Some connectors aren't.
Try a short length of tubing to connect your filter to your siphon, obviously the internal diameter must be close to the external diameter of your filter and siphon.
