If they're plastic, loosen the lids slightly to relieve the pressure and then tighten them up again. Perhaps do this in the sink to avoid said bollocking.

Place carefully the freezer if you don't want to loosen the lids, to test the durability of the bottles leave 1 that is distorted out in the sun away from breakables and see if it blows in the heat of the day
