Hi all.
I've got ½ a kilo of Maris Otter Pale ale malt, a sachet of S-04 Yeast and 100 grammes of Endavour hops pellets left.
I've just done a Citra SMaSH which is conditioning.
Any suggestions of what to do with my left overs to make a 19l batch.
I'd like something hoppy but perhaps a bit darker than the citra smash.
What shall I brew?
 
I would second some crystal.
Also add some chocolate malt, you don't need much of it to turn out nice dark winter brews.
I usually go no more than 200g or you end up with it looking like a stout
 
Yes I know I need more malt, the question was what sort to malt to make up the 4 kg with to make up something nice.
Apparently endavour will give a Berry/ wild berry flavour
 
You need a pale malt like Maris otter for your 4kg. You can then add 100-200g Crystal and 50-100g chocolate malt.
