hi folks,

I'm brewing my first ever batch of beer and transferred it to a pressurised keg a week ago. When could I sample it to check if it's going ok?

hi folks,

Why not try a sample now then another in a weeks time, it will learn you how beer matures and how good it becomes in what time scale :)

If you were really keen you would taste once a week and make tasting notes. Come on get a sample out and tell us how it is, I'm in suspenders here.

:nono: Andy we dont want to no what your wearing

Nor why

To try and give a sensible answer to the original question:

If the keg is pressurised, there can be no harm done by pouring a small sample into a glass, waiting until it has stopped frothing and checking it for clarity, aroma and taste.

Then try to assess how close it is to the intended beer and report back!

Tried a very small sample. Still very cloudy. Nice aroma but the taste wasn't great- might be better a bit chilled?
