Hi all, I am about to start my very 1st batch of Wurzels Orange wine :D and after looking at the recipe I am wondering where is the best place to buy potassium sorbate from ? Can anyone point me in the right direction :wha:

 DC

Any homebrew shop, or Wilkinson's if their branches extend that far North.

It might also be labelled as “wine stabiliser”.

Hi Moley, for that mate I was just in Wilko's on Saturday and saw there wine stabiliser didnt realise it was the same stuff :? Will be back there before the Wurzels Orange has fermented out so no big problem :thumb:

You're welcome DC

Just one thing to watch out for, if it's in Wilko's then it's Young's Wine Stabiliser. Young's had some issues with their labelling, it should say 1/2 teaspoon per gallon but a batch of labels got changed to 1-2 tsps/gal. The dosage is half a tsp per gallon.
