Been brewing standard kits for about a year and after reading loads on this forum I thought I would try enhancing one.

I started with the Wilko best of British IPA kit. I added a jar of honey to the fermenter and a hop tea made of 25g of cascade hops. I am also planing to dry hop with 25g of cascade.

Any ideas of how this will turn out or any suggestions on what I should do different?

Just posted in another thread, I used this kit with some honey and light malt and a brew bag of Willamite hops. Its in a barrel in the cupboard now for a month but had a sneaky taste- very nice :thumb:

FG is at 1009 after 2 weeks now. Seems a bit high so may hang on a few days before bottling.

drank this last night. 3 weeks in fermenter, 3 weeks in bottles. Very nice drink with strong grapefruit taste.
