So that's my first brew just a few days from being ready to drink!

Ingredients -
Wilkos Newkie Brown Kit (1.7kg)
Geordie Beer Kit Enhancer (1kg)
Primed with 3/4 mug of sugar

Left in FV for 13 days. Bottled and left in warm for 2 weeks then cool for 2 weeks.

Tried a bottle last night and the result - a pleasant tasting brown ale, nice aroma and smooth on the way down. A little bit too fizzy and not much of a head but I'm really happy with my first effort! Very drinkable!

I made a few n00b mistakes along the way e.g Not buying a hydrometer/not measuring my priming sugar (probably the reason for the excess fizz!) - but I have one now, along with carbonation drops for next time.

Next on the list - Coopers Real Ale.
