I have 3 batches of Wurzels on the go at the moment while the weather is warm 17 gals. I have used 1kg of sugar per gallon instead of the recomended 1 1/2lb, can anyone help me work out the alcohol % of my wine, i let all my wines ferment out to dry, cheers Dave NE

If you've used the standard recipe of 1 WGJ + 1 OJ, grape juices seem to average around 155g sugar in the litre and orange juices around 100g.

Therefore, you've got a total of 1255g in the gallon (4.5 litres) = 279g/litre.

That would give you an OG of 1.100

If it ferments out to dryness at 0.990 you've got just under 15% abv.
