I started the yeast for my Cider in some water with a little sugar last week and only pitched about half of it. I then left the rest of the yeast in the fridge.

Is this yeast finished or can it still be used??

If so what do I need to do??

:wha:

If it is still in the packet then you could certainly use it fairly soon it you have secured the sachet.

If you have hydrated the yeast and have it left in a glass in the fridge then I wouldn't use that. You are running too much of a risk of carrying an infection over to your brew.

There is nothing worse that losing a batch to something that could easily be avoided so I wouldn't risk it.
