    Hi all. just took a reading and it has come down from 1078 to 1016 which is just over 8% and its still fermenting. That was not doing a yeast starter that was a S o5 staight out the packet.

    Hi cheers for the reply, but i did use brewing sugar and spraymalt in both kits to give it a bit better outcome, the abv was 6.6 on the bitter and 5.9 on the ipa.
