No usually just go with the instructions, this is the third attempt with Mr Beer - I think my first had duff yeast too but the second had a pretty impressive Krausen but I over carbonated in the bottles

We'll see
Usually leave it in the LBK for...
Monday night I put a Bewitched Amber Ale into the LBK, stuck in the yeast - gave it a sniff and wasn't getting any real aroma from it.
Still no activity today Friday so bought some Wilko own brand Ale yeast 11.5g and rehydrated it.
Have thrown it into the LBK
Given that it's just more...

Bottling was a breeze
Now just the wait ...
Getting ready to bottle this weekend, I have some syphon hose and a bottling wand - quite why Mr Beer doesn't sell the bottling wand in this country or make the hole in the LBK big enough to fit a little bottler
Just wondering if anyone has been brave enough to try to drill the hole in...
Yeah can imagine a loose hose pissing all that lovely beer everywhere :-o
I had a measure of the Keg hole it's 12.5mm so too small for the little bottler unless I feel brave and have at it with a drill - wish they would sell the spares in this country
Will see if I can get my hands on some...
