First time brew question here so sorry for the newbie question. My brew of IPA has been brewing now for 7 days at the start there was a good frothy head on top. Now I came home from work yesterday and the froth has nearly all gone, is that normal?

this is my first attempt at brewing, last Friday i mixed my brew and put it in the airing cupboard. now the instructions for my beer say to keep the temp between 18 to 22 but mine went up over night to 28. do any of you think this has killed my beer going to this temp or will it be ok in your...

I have just started home brewing, and this thread has answered a lot of my questions regarding vwp. I had know idea that you needed to wash it off after ward, caught it just in time lol.

My secondhand keg needs a really good clean what can I use before I sterilize. Could I use washing up liquid or would it have to be something more specialized

That sounds really promising Paul, you brought it for a good price there. I paid 20 for The kit that included everything to get you started. All I had to buy was the sugar, IPA kit and some storage. Abit pricey now that iv researched bit at least most of the stuff is reusable :)
