Equipment For Sale Blichmann RipTide for Sale

I'm selling my Blichmann RipTide as I don't get to use it anymore. I bought from Malt Miller a few years back but have only used it maybe 4 or 5 times. It's all in working order, it's a little dirty on the pump but the sanitary parts are all sparkly clean. I gave it a little service and PCB and...

    Incognito Hop Extract.

I tried the Spectrum Citra in a recent pale ale. I added it straight to the keg at a lower rate, but so far I can't recommend doing it that way. I just have a strong soapy bitterness going on - a bit like it smells straight out the pot. I split my brew into 2 kegs, and the other tastes just...

Hello. I’ve been replying to many private messages, however they are the only ones I seemed to get a notification on. As the message said, I’m moving soon so have no had the time to check the thread - I didn’t think anyone replied. So sorry for the silence. Anyway. All the items are no longer...

Can you get small HERMS coils and can they be used as chillers?

Wow thanks for the info. I do have a copper chiller at the moment so perhaps I can adapt for the purpose. I'm not set on HERMS but I'd like try steps in my mash and to try to get a better efficiency. I may also try a Grainfather style pot in pot as I already have a smaller stock pot that...

Can you get small HERMS coils and can they be used as chillers?

Hey, Does anyone know of any small HERMS coils? The only ones I can find are 30cm in diameter but I'm doing small batches and my pots are only just 30cm. Also, is it possible / a good idea to use the HTL as boil kettle and then circulate cold water through the HERMS coil to cool?

    Buffalo induction hob & Timer

I'm thinking on getting an induction hob as well but I do 10L batches at the moment to save space. I'm thinking this... http://www.catering-appliance.com/caterlite-cm352-induction-hob-2000w ...as it's less powerful and of course cheaper. Do you think this is ok to boil 10-15L? Would I be...

    Grainfather vs DIY upgrade

Very true re: extra pride in the building the kit and 10l shouldn't be too tricky to build I hope. Well I have most of it already, just need the elements and pumps.
