It actually turned out very nice, the colour was a bit like a ruby and it tasted a bit stronger than the 5% stated on the box. If I iron out the newbie mistakes, I think it would be fabulous. I'll definitely make another batch of this. Recommended!

I started Rajas Reward 9 days ago and followed the instructions to the letter. The airlock bubbled constantly for about 4 days but then stopped. I've just taken a reading at its 1020. After 8-10 days it should be between 1008-1010. It does say in the instructions that it can take 15 days to...

Thanks for comments. Just tried it and not too bad actually. It was Muntons American IPA. I was expecting it to be a lot lighter in colour like the pic on the box, but very drinkable! Just poured the Bulldog Raja's Reward into the tub, fingers crossed on that one.

I think I may have made a few errors on my first attempt at home brewing. I was so eager to get underway around 6 weeks ago that I didn't notice my stirring spoon wasn't long enough. The result was my fist done as much stirring as the spoon head! :-O . Another error I may have made is checking...

Hi all, Completely new to this, but very excited and looking forward to my new hobby! Literally just finished mixing Muntons American Pale Ale into the plastic bucket. It doesn't look very golden like the pint on the box though, hmmmmm. I'll let you know how it turns out. Lefty
