replacement kit turned up as promised, this time has a sticker saying 32 pints on the front, i think i will keg the first kit and get this one on as well

Had a reply from riches, and they apologised for the error on the box and they are sending me a replacement kit, I will keep this brew on and see what it turns out like, but I will make the replacement up to 32 pints :p

I made it up to 40 pints opps

Started this Kit yesterday. Now it says its a 40 pint kit should be around 6% i made it up as stated SG was only 1048, in the instructions is says it should get down to 1016 not correct me if im wrong but how the hell is that going to achieve 6%, its got the correct amount of water as i...

I made this earlier in the year, and everyone that came to our house warming preferred it to Desperados, so i will defiantly be doing this kit again

this is after being in the warm for two weeks, have resisted the temptation to try any yet, going to move it to the garage tonight

this was my first ever kit, that i got as a present, came out really well not a strong beer but tasted good, now im hooked and have been busy since april brewing away

had a house warming at the weekend and the porter the razorback IPA and the better brew bandit were the faves judging by the amount of bottes ive washed up this week

started this one off two weeks ago after 12 days it had ended up at 1010, 5.5% so i bottled it, smells great (will post a pic later), cant wait to try it after the great results i got from the Razorback and the porter

i bottled this 7 weeks ago, tried one after 4 weeks had a sharp taste but now three weeks later it is like a different beer tastes great
