it was very nice one of the first kits i done made as per instructions but needs some sort of hop addition it s a bit bland otherwise
but one ill make again
ive done the ribena wine strawberry and blackcurrant i tryed vimto as well i boiled it first something to do with the preservatives i cant remember where the recipie was from left it about three months in the shed from what i remember it dident taste nice but got you smashed it was ok for...
i thought all of the milestone kits ive done were poor for the price (ipa ,lionspride ,blackpearl,) stuck fermentations ect
the nogs ok but out of the woodfords kits the wherry or admerals revenge were the best in my opinion :thumb:
ive got this sitting in the king keg now. i used the brew enhancer and ive dry hoped it with some challenger and target hop teabags as ive found the other coopers kits to be a bit lacking in hop taste im gonna leave it for as long as i can
ive been told six weeks ? ive not done a lager kit...
i made this last year the woman in the home brew shop said its better than crabbies id have to disagree not enough ginger for me tasted like artificial sweetners i left it in bottles in the shed for three months and its still nasty i wont be making this again
ive just finished drinking this kit i made it with cane sugar and put it in a pressure barrel i only left it ten days (no self control)
a guy at work allways makes this kit with cane sugar and keeps telling me how good it is
i normally use spray malt with my kits but i thought id try it his...
the wherry is one of the better woodfords kits but id agree with what others have said dont mess with this kit
i did one with 500g of light spray malt added and it spoiled the flavor
