    hi guys i batch primed a wilkos cider kit yesterday (friday).i was going to bottle sunday but ive hurt my back. i think im looking at mon or tues before i can bottle (fingers crossed).am i ok to leave it so long and how long can i leave it before i have to bottle thanks steve

    thanks for the replies ive got a hydrometer but never really used it and i forgot all about it . :doh: i think ill use 500g of each and any shortfall use ordinary sugar. once again thanks

    couldnt get any brewing sugar for a 1 can kit but ive got medium spray malt and beerkit enhancer.now can i substitute 500g of each for 1kg of sugar.can i use them together in the same brew or do i have to use them seperately thanks

    i use a heating tray that can fit 2 demi johns on. i use a cheap electric timer with 15 minute segments and i have 15 min on/off.at the moment i only brew from kits so not really an expert but id rather use this system than leave it to chance.i use this for both wine and beer

    my RRA has now matured into a lovely pint.nice carbonation, crystal clear and a lovely head on it. most importantly it is a really nice beer.3/4 of the way down the glass and it still retains a good head really pleased.waiting nearly 2 months has certainly been worth it. i would recommend this kit

    i add my dissolved sugar first then syphon the beer onto it so its mixed. dont know if that makes any difference.
