Hi, I have just started my first Wherry brew from a Young’s micro brewery kit. It seems the airlock that came with the kit is losing its water somewhere🤷🏻‍♂️ Is there a better airlock or a particular favourite for home brewers that I should be using? More importantly, is my first brew knackered?

Hi, I'm fitting an STC1000 to an old chest freezer for fermenting my brew. Do i need to bypass the original thermostat or do i leave it in situ? Also, when i transfer to my brew to a barrel and the instructions say to add sugar, is this normal sugar or another kind? Strayduck
