    Re: Festival Razorback IPA Review

Mine ended up in the FV for 3 weeks before I got to 1004. Hops at that point had been in for 7 days. Its now only been 7 days since I batch primed it and I couldn't resist a taste. This is only my second brew and having been a bit disappointed with my first effort I was amazed by this even at...

Bulldog Four finger Jack American Pale ale.

Well this was my first ever attempt at making beer. I don't think I made any glaring errors but still sure I got bits wrong. It had 15days in FV and ended up pretty strong at 5.8, two weeks in the warm after bottle priming and now 5 weeks cold conditioning. Its now drinkable. Cant say Im...

    Woodfordes Wherry Review

This is exactly what I'm going to try for my third brew. I love Oakham Ales' Citra so picked that for my first go at dry hopping. Pleased to hear it turned out well for you. I see from your sig you used 50g - was that fresh or pellets? At what point did you add it? I might split it in two and...

    Re: Festival Razorback IPA Review

Based on the comments here Ive bought this as my second ever brew. Been in the FV for 2 days and is bubbling away happily although much more slowly than my previous bulldog kit. Im think of moving this to a second FV once the gravity has stabilised and then adding the hops and letting it cool...

Bulldog Four finger Jack American Pale ale.

Tried the first 2 bottles of mine after just a week in the bottles and alcoholic fruit juice about sums up the taste. Not nasty but also not what I had expected. Didn't have enough carbonation at that point either so left it another week in the warm and have now left it in the shed to cool...
