So this arrived today. PID control thing for my HLT. God knows what I do with it though. But looks shiny and has buttons that light up. Thus making me impressed.

Mrs away last weekend of month so thinking of doing a brew the Friday and one the Saturday. Friday one sorted. English Ale. Was thinking this for the other. Thoughts??

Question: Currently have a 50l pan that I use to do mi BIAB on. Now looking at going 3 vessel route. I'm thinking another 50l pan with electric to use as HLT. Should I then also get a 50l thermopot. Or would a 38l one do the job. I'm sure it would but if I were to utilise the kettle I have and...

Just done an update on my hop stocks and it turns out I've a fair few!! Doing an American Pale Ale this weekend then clibits Black sabbath for a festive stout. Any thoughts on what to do with rest of them. Rather than keep buying more be good to utilise ones I've got rather than waste them...

With one FV due to be bottled in just over a week thoughts on what to put in it are already happening. The chap in the HomeBrew shop was singing the praises of sorachi ace hops? Never used them myself but having persuaded Google saw this. Know I like simcoe no idea of the other hops in it...
