Witbier BIAB - opinions on recipe

Think am going to go with amarillo or nelson and the bitter orange in my next batch. Or might buy some citra. If am using nelson or citra think I'd add them at 20 or 30 minutes, stop them adding too much bitterness.

Witbier BIAB - opinions on recipe

The witbier with watermelon I've got going just now smells awesome. I just wish I had put bitter orange peel in with the coriander seed as well as adding the watermelon, but we live and learn :D Having another bash at this this weekend.

    Witermelon bier

Had my first go at making a witbier on Sunday. Was going to try the kiwheat beer from Home Brew Beer book but found I had some Hull Melon hops and Lidl had some nice melons in :D So stuck with the fruity theme but went melon instead of kiwi. Batch size: 4ltr Total grain: 1kg Total hops...

Have a go at simple AG

The last 2 brews I've done using this technique I've used 1kg MO and 50g of crystal malt for a wee bit more sweetnes but added a few more grams of hops on each addition. I've also dry hopped the last 2 :D Got some Munich malt, Aroma and special B to have a wee play about with the grain bill.
