    long day tomorrow

    Need to prep for Xmas YES not far away. tomorrow a beaverdale chateau do roi , sav blanc both 30 botts, then a directors 40 pints, and a geordie bitter but enhanced with our sons kentish hops fresh from farm! happy days, oh and if time anothe batch of rhubarb wine from garden.

    Think I am lucky

    Our son lives/married on a farm in Kent apart from arable,sheep, fruit they also have hops. He is responsible for harvesting and drying them ( in the oast now) I have a regular supply of hops, they win awards every year so happy days!

    try this company

    Used a few companies, hop shop ,plymouth are good, as is homebrewshop in Farnborough ( used these a lot when lived in Woking! I went on to Art of brewing but sadly in my opinion when they were took over, lost the plot! I found this site burnleyhomebrew.co.uk. use them everytime, great service...

    sorted for Xmas!

    Well, spent today racking and brewing 5 gall pinot, 2 gall cabernet sauv, 5 gall lager (not for me for young'uns!), 20 gall bitter!! Trying Woodfordes wherry as well. put some hops from sons farm in bitter, can't wait to try.

    any one tried?

    Masterpint kits? just bought a couple from art of brewing, thought I would try them instead of Geordie. going to add some extra hops anyway, but when opened the extract smells much stronger and thicker than Geordie.

    found this site after searching comments on woodfords wherry!! Been brewing since the 70's, love it!! My son now lives ( married daughter) on a farm in Kent growing arable and fruit mainly but their other crop is hops!! yes you guessed it every year over a bin bag of fresh hops! they supply...
