    Turbo cider.

Thanks! The labels? Turns out the A4 sheet is perfect for doing three round-the-bottle labels for that 500ml bottle. It is glued to itself with a bit of paper glue. Initially held in place by rubber bands :D

I could not wait any longer... Bottled last Friday - it has got bubbles and the taste is really OK already! :D

My first TC done! :D Half of it primed with soft brown sugar, the other half with raspberry syrup.

My bubbles are pretty much gone, and the bottles will arrive later today, so - BOTTLING DAY! :) I do see 6g/500ml of syrup for priming, but what sugar content are we talking about? How much pure sugar per 500ml bottle chaps? I can't wait to have a taste...

Just an update on my first one. 48h after adding yeast the airlock is moving every 8 seconds! It really is alive!

24 hours later there is movement in the airlock (I've got the quiet type on)! So, do you guys recommend to bottle straight after fermentation is finished? Also, which 1L plastic bottles? Is colour important? :)

    Turbo cider.

Yup, at least part of the bottles to see exactly what is the difference :) BTW, how long until fermentation visibly begins at around 19-20C?

    Turbo cider.

    As suggested - GV4.

    Turbo cider.

    Yup! 21L of (hopefully) goodness.

Building my first AG set - the log

It would appear I am no longer able to edit my original post... Anyway, bought another fridge - this time the FV fits very well, so I am going to stick with the original idea of simply adding the heating element to it. I should have some time on Saturday to wire and test everything. I also...

    Turbo cider.

Noted. One more question. Given that different juices can have different sugar content, what should be the ratio of sugar content of the mixture at the time of adding yeast? :)

Thank you so much for sharing! One question. I've got a spare 33L FV, so I'm thinking about doing a 25L batch. Do I simply multiply everything by 2.5?

Building my first AG set - the log

Bought a small fridge and... it turns out the FV is too wide for it  Will probably try to build my own chamber capable of housing two FVs...

Fermenters on their way with Parcelforce after a phonecall from the Home Brew Shop :) Will collect the fridge on Wednesday: Any ideas which heating component should I use?

Building my first AG set - the log

Two 30L plastic fermenters ordered. Once they are here they will help me to assess the necessary size of my fermentation chamber. Edit Also bought STC-1000 for 11.55GBP.

Building my first AG set - the log

Thanks for your input Dan. I like how a bench capper looks like and operates, but it seems to be a lot bigger than the lever one, and that is really important to me. Besides, I'll be bottling no more than 50 bottles at a time - I can do it! :) I've been thinking about adapting a fridge, but I...

Building my first AG set - the log

Firstly, thank you so much for your warm welcome on the forum. I've only been here for a moment and already my understanding of the subject rose from negligible to above negligible ;) In this thread I am going to publish, discuss and update the shopping list of my first homebrewing set. I hope...
