Yes, I know, its a heck of a long time to have a barrel occupied, seemingly doing nothing but taking up space. The brew was way too 'chewy' over the 1st few weeks of drinking, so left it alone and totally impressed by the way it kept for so long (and more impressed by the way its improved)
