Advice connecting SS Brewtech Brite Tank to CO2

Hi, I've just got my handson the same brite tank, however, the JG connector doesn't work, it pops off all the time. Are you still using this method? I had the same with the cooling coil. It worked at first, but when it got cold, obviously contracted and popped off. Water everywhere.

    Wanted 100 litre

Hi, I was supposed to get all the stuff out and photograph it, but it peed down all day. I have some photos but it's all still stacked up in the garage. I'd rather sell as a full package. 2 x 90ltr pots with sight glasses, lids and thermometers. Mash tun with thermometer and insulated. False...

    Wanted 100 litre

I will look at the weekend and sort everything out. I bought the kit last summer, it was an ex test kit at St Austell brewery. I will be selling as a whole, but there are loads of bottles and bits as well as a fermenter. I'll work out a list.

    Mixing Yeast

Just had a little thought. I brew 100ltrs at a time, and I use dried packet yeast. I need to use 4 for a full batch, but, after my next brew, I'll have two left. Has anyone tried doing a brew with two strains of yeast, eg, I'll use the two packs of West Coast i have, plus two others of a...

Anyone used the Brewster By Brewolution system?

I've got a Brewolution Brewster, made, ,maybe, 18 brews on it altogether. I've now upgraded to a 100ltr three tier system, but still use the Brewolution Brewster to do small runs, or new recipes. I made a milk stout and an APA last weekend on it. I use the counterflow chiller from it on my...

    corny kegs,

Just pull the pin on the top a little, that'll let some pressure out. Lower the pressure in first though to between 5 and 8. Is it too gassy, or too foamy? If it is gassy, then, you over carbed it, so pull the pin to empty excess, then, let it sit for a day or so and purge again, then, only...

    Flash Chiller to cool wort?

Quick update. I've done two brews today, a milk stout and an apa. I forgot to switch the chiller on. I'll be ordering a heat exchanger.

    Flash Chiller to cool wort?

Haha, no, I'm saying that is NOT what I want to do. I'm going to put the wort through the chiller. I WILL be sanitising it, as I do before I always use it. I'll be recirculating the wort into the chiller and back into the boil kettle after flame out. It takes a good 5 or 6 hours from start...

    Flash Chiller to cool wort?

I think there is a little confusion by a couple on what the flash chiller is and what I was going to do. I'm going to put the wort straight into the chiller, not use it to chill some water to run through the coil / bin etc (that was a secondary option), as this would still waste some of the...
