I use these as my LHBS and they've recently had some staffing issues. Think they run 2 businesses from the same premises so things have been manic last few weeks. I needed a 55l fermenter and that was cheap enough so I bought it. It came with pressure kit so I thought I'd give pressure fermenting ago after watching several YouTube vids.

So do I not put gas in to my fermenter to move the beer to the keg? If I've released the gas to dry hop do I not top it back up to the desired psi after?

What happens when I release all the gas to dry hop it and the yeast can't make enough co2 to carb the beer up? I thought that was the point of fermenting under pressure? It carbs the beer whilst fermenting

Just purchased a 55L Fermzilla conical fermenter going to ferment under pressure for the first time. I serve all my beers on 70/30 gas. Will I be OK fermenting with 70/30 gas or does the Nitrogen inhibit the yeast ? I've got a bottle of Co2 as well to use incase.

I put mine in to a polypin bag(thicker plastic) straight from the fermenter. Then I put a 3/8 to 3/8 john guest fitting on tap and push gas line in. Sit it so beers away from tap and I fill head space with 70/30 gas. If it starts bulging just release a little gas.

Ive got 30 litre kettle now but a corny only lasts me a weekend. So I've fallen out with brewing a little bit because I seem to never have any stock, and forever seem to be brewing. So thought I'd go bigger.
