    i did that kit with 1,7-kg dark LME without hopping. (sladovna bruntal) it turned out very good, very very malty but almost no hop bitterness. So if u use DMe or LME unhopped you may think add some bitterness hops.

    Ä°ts really nice kit. Also dry hoping really suits it. But yeast may be changed by proper one. it fermented around 21 C and i always felt yeast taste and taste like very S-33 yeast.

    i have tried ruby porter. Used also sladovna bruntal dark LME. (czech republican. very dark malt almost same colour as ruby porter) used kit yeast and result was very pleasing. i can suggest that kit. i really wonder amber ale kit too.

    I have made this twice, 1st attempt was with 1kg dme and s-33 yeast, yeast taste was very obvious, 2nd attempt was with half kg dme and half kg table sugar and kit yeast, it was top notch, taste like Guinness foreign stout i loved, way way better than coopers stout.

    i made it with 1,25 kg. pale ale malt and 0,25 kg. carared malt, half kg sugar. i added 15 gr hops last min boil and 15 gr. dry hops. kit is a bit too bitter. hence hard do notice aroma hops. but lessen bitter taste by time. clearity was great even though i squized malt bag after mash.
