    Tesco Ashbeck and Partial Mash

Hi all, After kit brewing for a little while, I've pretty much kitted up for small batch partial mash brews. My tap water quality isn't great and I've seemed to get better results using shop bought still water. I have three brews in mind. A light pale ale, with some tropical hops thrown at...

Water PH levels for kit brewing

I'm brewing a Festival Pilgrim's choice kit and for the sake of curiosity, my tap water isn't that great, I'm going to use Lidl Springwater, not the bargain basement variety, rather the 30p per 2 litre kind. I've done a bit of reading with regards to reducing the PH level on water, but this...

    Hello again

Sorry bud...been away from the PC for a few days with family committments, yes I'm a born and bred midlander from Sunny Nunny (Nuneaton) and have got my teeth back into home brewing after a brief sojourn. Hope you're well, which part of god's country are you from?

    Hello again

Thanks! I've found the forum to be really useful TBH particularly with the stuck Muntons ferments and Pressure Barrel leaks, it certainly took some of the trauma out and saved a couple of brews:cheers9:

    Hello again

Hi, completely forgot that I'd registered for the forum a little while back and I'm not sure if I introduced myself at the time. I've just pitched my 9th brew in a little over 12 months, so I'm relatively new to all of this. I'm a midlander and enjoy quality ale, but not quality ale pub...
