How long should you give "it"?

Just tasted the Wilko cervesa I did (with extra spraymalt) and to be fair it is pretty clear and has carbonated well in the bottle but given the choice you wouldn't order a second! How long does everyone give their brews a chance for before writing them off as a learning experience?

    A brave fight but lost...advice?

After brewing and bottling my first 2 brews my dearest but slightly OCD wife has called time and said I must relegate my 80 bottles to the garage. I've got them up on a worktop, in cardboard boxes and with a 13.5 tog duvet around them to keep them comfortable but do you think this is ok for...

    Like a proud father!

Just bottled my first ever brew, Wilko cervesa with extra fermentables. Looks a bit dark but I suppose the 500g light spraymalt and 1kg of dextrose have took it a bit past a light beer! Tastes ok too! 2 carb drops into pet bottles so will see how it gets on. Bottling my Stout tomorrow, got the...

    Carbing sugar amount

Was wondering how much people use for bottling stout? I am going to use dark brown sugar but don't have any fancy scales or spoons etc so will a rounded teaspoon suffice?

    1st 2 brews are goers (I think)

I have a Coopers Stout 21l (with 1kg brewing sugar, 500g medium spraymalt 1058 OG) which has now 24hrs in got a whopping froth on the top and a Wilko cervesa 22l (1kg brewing sugar, 500g light spraymalt 1056 OG) which has a froth on and seems to have clouded a little? Wishing my life away until...
