    Does the type of yeast used affect taste?

    As title states, i am wondering if type of yeast used changes flavours? I have used standard Youngs dry yeast and nutrient in all my attempts. What benefits are there to using specific yeasts?

    Anyone have a good Ginger wine recipe i can use?

    Hello all, I'm looking for a ginger beer recipe that turns out similar to Stones ginger wine.I've tried a kit that was gingery and sweet but the other home ones I've tried haven't turned out ( so far ) as i hoped. I like ginger wine on its own but also in whisky for whisky macs. Can anyone help?

    Hi, My local asda had 1kg bags of mixed dried fruit going cheap so bought a couple hopefully to make wine.
