    Tri Clamp, BSP and NPT

brewbuilder have actually stated they have a TC-TC-BSP connector, they just don't have it on their site so I'm discussing purchasing that off them along with an FO hop filter (as long as it fits in my tank alongside the 5.5kw element).

    Tri Clamp, BSP and NPT

Ok so I have a TC kettle from brewbuilder and I'm thinking about adding a filter inside the kettle, which will have BSP fittings on it most likely. Now what I'm looking for is a triclamp fitting that has BSP connections on the inside of the fitting and either BSP or triclamp on the outside to...

Advice connecting SS Brewtech Brite Tank to CO2

Under 15 psi, opened the ball valve to check (and let the one way valve stop it flowing out). No signs of any starsan bubble .

Advice connecting SS Brewtech Brite Tank to CO2

Seems to work. No obvious leaks and pressurised to 15 psi to check for leaky connection .

    Shiny FV

... oh and I don't have the glycol. Instead I have a £20 cool box with holes drilled in the lid for the tubing and wiring to the FTS pump. The coolbox is then filled with water and ice packs / ice.

    Shiny FV

Do it. I now have two conicals. A 7 gallon brewbuilder one, and a 14 gallon SS Brewtech. The brewbuilder is...

Advice connecting SS Brewtech Brite Tank to CO2

Malt Miller been in touch and they've suggested this might work by putting it over the barb: https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product/john-guest-38-to-38-connector/ As I have one at home I'll be trying that later when I get home from work. If successful I should be able to use my new kit in...

Advice connecting SS Brewtech Brite Tank to CO2

Its this I believe looking on the brewtech site: https://www.ssbrewtech.com/products/carb-stone-replacements?variant=1797611749394 Its welded together so no chance of disassembling and putting a different barb on it. I'm looking at changing the JG connector on the regulator to a similar barb...

Advice connecting SS Brewtech Brite Tank to CO2

Yeah unfortunately I've already tried that. Its like brewtech have purposefully chosen one barb size too big for any connection systems I can find.

Advice connecting SS Brewtech Brite Tank to CO2

I'm trying to connect my new SS Brewtech Brite Tank (10 gallon size) to a CO2 cylinder. What I thought would be a simple affair is anything but. The CO2 regulator I have came with a John Guest 3/8 connector: https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product/premium-co2-regulator/ I'm using this line...
