Wilko 30bottle Italian white - demise of

Thanks, that is the identical wine, to the one which Wilko online are offering. Guess I need to try it. I'd never heard of Range, but having just checked, there seems to be one around 4 miles away from me here.

Wilko 30bottle Italian white - demise of

Yep, I've read all the negative comments, perhaps I have no taste - but I quite liked it, as did everyone who I offered it to.... I've made it for a few years. Now it is no longer available, I need to find an acceptable 30 bottle replacement kit. I read a hint that Munton had supplied it to...

    Using water from a dehumidifier?

My dehumidifier, as said already, is used for helping to dry line hung clothes in our utility room on wet days. It is plumbed to a drain, via a clear plastic pipe to avoid having to empty it regularly. The dehumidifier draws air in with a fan, which is preceded by a washable filter...

iSpindel - low cost data logging/display gadget

Fermentation almost complete and both iSpindel and Repeatidor have behaved impeccably. The three blips in the SG (blue line), are where I gave the FV and good shake up. The iSpindle is still showing 4.03 volts, despite a reporting interval of 60 seconds, over 11 days.

iSpindel - low cost data logging/display gadget

That should have read 'not moved'. It continued to work absolutely fine until yesterday, despite the repeatidor sometimes indicating no wifi signal from the iSpindel. The batteries charge was still fine after 16 days of reporting every minute, so I recharged it, left it reporting every 60...

iSpindel - low cost data logging/display gadget

[UPDATE] iSpindel via Repeatidor still working absolutely fine, in a jug of tap water, with the iSpindel set to send report every 60 seconds. 6 days = 8640 reports and the battery still showing 4.08v and a consistent 1.000. I think I have worked out the idea of the red/orange/green coloured dot...

iSpindel - low cost data logging/display gadget

Could you maybe contact the repeatidor's author for help with the code? There seems to be no obvious way to contact him - I only managed to find the repeatidor from a post he made on Facebook months ago in an iSpindel group, this one - Facebook Groups I have not seen him post anything much...

iSpindel - low cost data logging/display gadget

Another update..... The sharp peaks before 20:00 on the left, are me messing about with the calibration of the iSpindel (adding a tiny amount of lead, to correct the slight gravity error). There is a strange gap in the data between 06:38 and 06:58, for which I have no explanation [1]. I was out...

iSpindel - low cost data logging/display gadget

If I understand it - The repeatidor uses a modified version of Brewpiless, with two different versions available for the two display sizes. Both versions are V1.2 It's here - Repetidor iSpindel con Display Oled About 1/3 down the page.... Actualización 08/05/2021: -Reconexión wifi para...

iSpindel - low cost data logging/display gadget

I have spent off and on, quite a bit of time messing with the iSpindel plus repeatidor today.... Whilst experimenting with it, I have the iSpindel set to report every 60 seconds. Both updated to the latest firmware versions and I seem to be getting some better connection reliability out of it...

iSpindel - low cost data logging/display gadget

Thanks, I will try that. , Pre-repeatidor, I was finding after an extended period of use, the iSpindle might fail to report (with blue LED still flashing on time, as if reporting) and would need to be taken out of the brew and restarted. I never had any issues at all with getting the iSpindel...

iSpindel - low cost data logging/display gadget

No, I wasn't suggesting that wasn't possible - what I ought to have said is that I haven't tried to do that. It would have to be configured through my internet router. I used to have my router set up to allow me to access a security cam, I'm pretty sure the same could be done using the...

iSpindel - low cost data logging/display gadget

Sorry, I have only just spotted your post! I wrecked my Repeatidor - I managed to break the USB socket off the PCB, so had to order and await delivery of a replacement PCB. I have rebuilt it with a new PCB and this time reinforced the USB socket with hot melt glue. I programmed it up with the...

That's good news, at least now I know it wasn't a problem at my end. Thanks..

iSpindel - low cost data logging/display gadget

I think I have made a little progress with my Repeatidor's problem.... When the iSpindel loses contact with the Repeatidor - one or the other simply gives up trying and will refuses to produce any more data. The Repeatidor seems to go into reboot every so often, where it turns the display off...

iSpindel - low cost data logging/display gadget

The thread is very confused as to which it is suggesting is crashing, the iSpindel or the repeater. Were you able to work out which of the two might need its firmware reflashing to fix the issue? A bit more about my example..... It was my first fermentation using the repeater with the...

iSpindel - low cost data logging/display gadget

No, absolutely not. I have a genuine battery which has always given exceptional long running time and the battery is still reporting 4.12v.

iSpindel - low cost data logging/display gadget

I had Brewpiless fail this morning. It stopped showing any data, the date/time went to default on both the repeater and it's website, despite good wifi to it. I tried rebooting the repeater and my routers, which made no difference. I then opened up the FV, pulled the iSpindel out and tried...

iSpindel - low cost data logging/display gadget

I lacked an Android device, which made Brewspy especially cumbersome running on an emulator on my Win10 PC. I had no issues with the iSpindel being able to connect through two brick walls and around 8m to my router, when in the FV. Likewise I am having no issues with this repeaters ability to...
