    WOW...ive finally done it

    1l of cranberry 1l of red grape juice and same method as original wow. tastes just like the mateus rose if u sweeten to medium dry very drinkable :drink:

    Well it was looking abit slugish tbh think it was to warm. So I popped to wilkos got sum nutrient and it nearly blew up in my face lol just managed to contain the pulp volcano in the demi. 24 hrs later its chuffing like a gud un and my 2 year old son loves watching it bubble and move around...

    hi guys just made two separate 5l batches of wow using worzels / moleys recipe however i only just realized Ive run out of yeast nutrient. will this be a major booboo or will it be fine with just the young's super yeast??? many thanks fellas happy brewing

    yeh i boiled it first for 20 mins added sugar to it for last ten mins of boil... you end up with 750ml ish

    i used youngs cider yeast in my first tc og was 1050 fg 998 ( i let it ferment out so i could carbonate in a bottle... dont have a flashy cornie yet) tasted like a blackthorne added some splenda for a bit more sweetness and bottled with carbonation drops... (had them left over from lager)

    right then tc has fermented out so gonna check with hydrometer and bottle tonight any ideas how much sweetener to put in and how much sugar to put in per pint bottle???? the cheeky vimto is still fermenting like mad any ideas how long it takes to ferment out?

    okay so first batches are made and in demijohn's. the cheeky vimto started fermenting within 30mins and within an hour had a constant stream of bubbles through air lock 12hrs later had slowed down to a bubble every 10-15 secs and when ive got home from work its about 1 every second. i think...

    i no this might be stupid but by strong black tea do u mean normal tea bags???? also is it essential to add pectelose to tc or is that only if ur adding other stuff??? sorry i am a bit of a noob on this sort of thing :oops:

    Im making a batch of turbo cider tonight and possibly some cheeky vimto as well. making a demi john of each before mass producing in my fermenting bins. cant wait i never realized doing home brew was this cheap!!!
