    I'm not sure if solenoid valve is magnetic valve. But if it is, then you need pressure. With out right pressure magnetic valve not open. When you use gravity, there isn't enoug to open valve. And I think March cannot also push enough, but I'm not sure. But now I have SS316, quiet motorized...

    Oh yes, Finland is quite "long" country such as GB too, indeed. But we are much closer the north pole and few hundreds kilometers really matters when we speak of temperature. And I guess, in the north, they have a few degrees of minus and they can use cannon snow.
