    Antiforming (chlorine based) and Persacetic acid are both ones i use at work to sterilize the brewing equipment. Nought wrong with them.

    Using steam to control mash

    I was thinking something like this. Where the steamer is connected to come copper piping with had got lots fo holes of the copper pipe like a sparger or false bottom and just pump steam through to heat up when required. Good idea or a load of ****?

    The amount of cells of yeast in the ratio of sugar medium in this case grape juice matters. The more juice you have the longer it takes for the amount of yeast cells to grow to the required amount to be able to start to ferment. So just wait it out and it will ferment.

    HOME MALTING - 2v6 opinions

    6-row is used the mash of american corn whiskey because of the enzymes to convert the raw rye and corn mash so therefore i dont know it depends on if you want to make it will be beer i know thatcbut some styles like cream ale look for 6 over 2. 2 is better though for beer.
