Beer has too much gas to bottle and cloudy

Hi Drunkula, Thanks for the reply, it's a Mexican Bottled Beer so thought it would need to be a little higher in gas. I'm using Dextrose which tends to dissolve almost immediatly but didn't boil any water for it, just gently swirled it in as it was added. Do you think 3 volumes of gas would be...

Beer has too much gas to bottle and cloudy

Hi All, I have recently started making wine and thought I would try my hand at a beer kit so decided on a Coopers Mexican. Brewed it short to around 21Lts added 1K of Dextrose, fermented at around 20C, SG was 1.050 and after 6 days it had dropped to 1.008, retested 2 days later still at 1.008 so...

    Beer lines?

Pop round to your local Pub, quite often they will have an old Python hanging around. 3/8ths for the main line and 3/16ths to the tap using a variable preasure reducer betwen them. That'a a pro setup.

So, is it time for us to call last orders on the pubs?

Has Covid gone away? no, it will never "go away" just as Flu will never go away, but numbers were manipulated, there were financial insentives for the declaring deaths as Covid when it was actualy something else, Doctors received a directive to do just that, even the Government admitted that...

    Strawberry/lime turbo cider

You could try frozen Strawberries, they are pick at the right time and in best condition before being froven. Defrost and mash.

So, is it time for us to call last orders on the pubs?

There seems to be 2 main topics here, one is Covid which in my own personal opion is an exercise in control, yes there is /was a virus but the effects were exagerated to push an agenda. The second is the future of the Pub trade. Our Pubs are an institution, a public resource. Somewhere you can...
