    Home Brew Kit for Sale

After dabbling with homebrew for a year, I've come to the conclusion sadly that I just cannot give it the time it deserves at the moment. Therefore, my fairly comprehensive setup is up for sale. It will go on ebay in a week or so but thought i'd mention it on here first to see if anyone who is...

How do you gas your corny kegs?

My first couple were gassed up to 20psi for about 5 days then dropped down to about 7 for serving. The Czech Pilsner has a magnificent but excessive head and the German Pilsner not far behind. I serve through a 2 product beer chiller and a font tap via 3/16 lines. I think I will either gas the...

    Faulty Ball Lock Post

I bought a couple of Corny's a few weeks back from Norm, cleaned, re-pressurised and tested all fine. Put product in and added co2. No problems up until then. At the weekend I setup my home bar, connected 1 Corny up and dispensed fantastically. However on the 2nd one the beer just spewed out...

    Favourite Beer Bottles

I've got a fairly decent stash of 500ml brown swingtops some from purchases like Hacker Pschoor from Beers of Europe and others from trips to Germany in the car (Swing tops in supermarkets filled are often less than a euro!) I've just scrubbed 30 Grolsch swingtops (took about 5 attempts) that...

    Cleaning Corny Lines

Thanks for that. However, I need to really leave the lines in situ as they run through the wall of my garage. I've seen comments elsewhere about using a corny after cleaning to push through the cleaner under pressure right through to the tap or is there another option?

    Cleaning Corny Lines

Now that i have a couple of corny's filled and a python winging its way to me, my attention is now turning to how to keep the lines clean. My setup is as follows: 2x Cornys >>>>>>> 3/8 line >>>>>>> 2 product chiller >>>>>>> 3/16 line >>>>>>> 2 tap Porcelain beer font (All brass fittings)...

    Beer Finings

My first fermentation of kit beer is nearing the stage of bottling/putting in a cornelius keg. I've picked up a bottle of Ritchies wine and beer finings which says I need to put 2 teaspoons per 4.5 litres of WINE Does anyone know if the measure is the same for beer (i.e. about 10 teaspoons...

    Greetings & 1st Beer Attempt

Hi, New to the forum. Just started my first beer Homebrew, A Better Brew Czech Pilsner after the generally positive comments on this site. 2nd day in, bubbling nicely in my study at 22 degrees. Follwed the recipe except substituting 500g extra light spray malt for 500g of the brewing sugar. See...
