    Brewers Spring, Pilsner

    Did you give the bottles two weeks in the warm before so they could carb up before putting them in the cold room? You can leave it in one FV for a a few weeks without any problems (Mine stay in there for 14 days), so you don't really need a glass carbouy. I always tend to brew my kits short so...

    If there is froth (thats the krausen) then it is fermenting. Don't be concerned about the airlock, give it a few days and take a gravity reading. if its going down its working :cheers:

    Will it clear

    Make sure you leave the bottles in the warm for 2 weeks to carb up and then put them out n the cold. They will clear in a couple of weeks. Patience :roll:

    Any krausen on it? Then an obvious daft question, did you put the yeast in? :D Give it a bit longer then a gentle stir with a sanitised spoon, if nothing try re-pitching some more yeast :drunk:

    I give mine at least 2 weeks in the warm to carb up, before at least 2 weeks in the cold to start conditioning :drink:

    This is the whole problem with this country! What gets me is a lot of this comes from the misuse of the European convention of human rights. Which time and again gets abused in the UK and other countries in Europe seem to be able to bypass it when they want, yet come down on the UK with an iron...

    St Peters Cream Stout with treacle

    Mine is fermenting away like an express train at the min, massive creamy krausen almost up to the lid in a coopers FV. Smells great, Lee I love the Coopers Stouts but haven't tried a St Peters yet, so I would go or which ever works out cheaper to do again :cool:

    anyone worked or lived in Abu Dhabi ?

    My cousin works out there and she loves it, the way of life is much better and the pay is good. She has a young family out there with her and they have some fantastic opportunities. My sister works out in Dubai and its the same there, glorious weather and good wages :)
