Do you think electric is cheaper then gas? I would think its more now (uk). I have the choice of indoor or outdoor. Electric looks like it offers the best control.

Hi all, My current setup has just been small kitchen gas hob brewing. I have now moved and about to go bigger. I have the choice of either Electric or gas. Both need me to buy something to finish the setup (gas burner for gas, power regulator for electric). Just wanted to know peoples opinions

Im looking to make a blackberry stout, probably just a 5l batch to test. I have the receipe for the stout (going with an irish stout from brewfather) and think i want to add my pulped fruit at 2nd fermentation, maybe on day 7. But i have jo idea the fruit to beer ratio

I have just been given a brewpot (30l i think, not checked) It needs a bit of a clean and the element connectors need some tlc. But there is no earth... can i just attach the earth to the pot?

Completly agree. That was just a polykeg to test my bad electrics. It works... so i will be moving it into stainless with a 2nd element

so i tasted my recipe as above and its nasty, there is no bite to it and a nasty taste that was tangy with a strange smell (not pleasant). Also leaves a horrible after taste that i can't describe. Not sure what has caused this but there was no visible signs of infection.

Hi all, I have one of these soup urns that i use for heating my mull cider in the winter, but it sits unused all yer round. Im currently only doing 5L batches. Buffalo
