Bottle conditioning a cold crashed beer

Hi guys. I normally keg all my beer but I have a 5 gallon batch to bottle for Crimbo presents. Unwittingly I cold crashed the beer as I often do and then began to wonder whether the bottles will carb having done this. What are your thoughts?

    Berliner Weisse concerns

So a few weeks ago I embarked on my first sour. After fermentation I didn't have a keg free and I can't stand bottling if I can help it. I did however have three demijohns available so I racked what I could into these and left the remainder in the FV in the fermentation fridge. 4 weeks on I...

    Elderflower witbier

So I don't have much time to do an AG batch this month and instead I have procured a Brewferm wheat beer kit. The reviews look good but I can't resist trying to pimp it. I'm thinking I will switch the packet yeast for Safbrew WB-06 and I'd like to add dried elderflower to the secondary. Does...

    2 way splitter question

Hi Guys I recently invested in a second keg and therefore bought a 2 way splitter. I have 2 brews force carbing as we speak. When the dial reads 30 psi and both valves are open, does this mean that both kegs are getting 30 psi or is it shared 15 psi each?

    Coffee Stout queries

Hi Guys I have been a long time forum voyeur and now finally have some questions of my own. I am a relatively novice AG brewer, having taken the step back in September I have put down a few beers since with varying success. Generally seem to be getting better though! I am looking to brew a...

    New Year, new hobby

Hi all. 2013 sees me newly signed up to CAMRA, 2 beer festivals planned and my first two brew kits under way. I think it's fair to say that there is a theme to events so far. I have my first batch of Woodfordes Wherry conditioning in the bottle and the second bubbling away in the FV. This site...
